When it comes to tea, a tea that helps you sleep is always on my radar. I don’t always grab any tea to test, and I have a few requirements on the ingredients. I need a sleep tea product to be all-natural, easy to use, and a sleep tea blend that does not include caffeine.
This is where Alta Farms comes in. I have added them to my natural tea sleep brands to look for a top tea for sleep. I have tried a few, but I like Alta Farms, and let me share with you why.
Alta Farms grows the ingredients for their teas right in Utah, USA, so it is made locally and made in the USA and grown fresh year-round.

The product I tried is the lavender and chamomile mix. I have another post on what tea is good for sleep, so if you want to go deeper into the ingredients and how they work, give that post a read.
The Lavender and Chamomile mix include Valerian root and hydroponically grown hemp to increase its effects and make it one of the best tea for a restful sleep.
Why Does Tea Make You Sleepy?
For most tea’s, they won’t. Like the ones found in Alta Farms Lavender & Chamomile Mix, the ingredients promote sleep naturally without addicting or synthetic substances.
Ingredients
Lavender. Lavender has an interesting history with helping people sleep and pain management since early Greece. In the bible, lavender was called “spikenard” and was used for insomnia and general pain management.
Chamomile. Chamomile has been around for centuries and is used all over the world for aromatherapy and sleep. Since Rome’s days, chamomile has been used to treat things such as skin and inflammatory diseases.
Valerian Root. Today, Valerian root can be purchased almost anywhere and should always have a warning about not operating heavy machinery. This warning alone should show you how powerful this ingredient can be. Valerian root has been prescribed as a sleep aid as far back as ancient Greece. In ancient Rome, the Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius used to prescribe it for people who have insomnia.
Hemp. While I usually don’t condone CBD type teas, I really can’t deny how effective this type of tea. Hemp has been used for centuries for several sleep disorders, like insomnia.
Why Herbal Tea is Good for Sleep
I am a firm believer in all-natural ways of getting to sleep, and any natural tea sleep remedies are worth looking into if you are looking for a better night’s sleep.
Drinking tea before you sleep is best when you drink it about 30 to 45 minutes before bed. You want your body to calm down and be finished with digesting warm liquids. If your metabolism is running crazy, you won’t get to sleep.
How Does it Taste?
Great! the lavender and chamomile pop. After about 10 minutes, I could feel the “calmness” approaching, nothing hard, just ever so subtle and chill.
The Best Sleep Tea on the Market
That is my opinion! As I have mentioned before, I have tried many products, and I like this one enough to share it with you.
I try about 5 or 6 different products per month and try to give it a few days and see anything to it. With Alta Farms Lavender and Chamomile Mix, you can’t go wrong.
Get yourself some today and enjoy a sleep tea blend that will calm you down so you can get some rest.
Lavender & Chamomile Tea Reviews
Don’t take my word for it, check out the reviews directly from Alta Farm’s website:
Of the three newly created teas offered through Alta Farms, I suggest you try the orange cinnamon first, though I also really enjoy the chamomile lavender. I’m an avid herb tea drinker, especially in the colder months. It’s my favorite morning ritual to sip a cup of orange cinnamon as I catch up on the news, and I like to wrap up my day with the chamomile lavender mostly because of the relaxing effects of all of all three herbs, including the Hemp. I’m a true fan, and highly recommend both! -Candice T.
I loved the tea. Drunk it last night and it help me relax without any sides effect. I would definitely buy this product again. -Gracie A.
Alta Farms tea is amazing. It tastes great and is relaxing. I love that it has a natural relaxant in it. I would rather drink Alta Farms’ soothing tea with natural ingredients to get rid of my headaches verse of taking Ibuprofen all the time. This tea is truly a gem and a great find. I highly recommend it. -Bryce S.
